About This Product

A kit for quantifying total protein amount using the BCA method. Consists of BCA solution (A, B), standard proteins (BSA, BGG), and pretreatment reagents to reduce interference from reducing agents.

■Protein quantitative reagent kit

A reagent kit for quantifying total protein amount using the BCA assay method. Samples containing reducing agents can also be measured with pretreatment to reduce the inhibition of reducing agents. Of course, samples containing surfactants can be measured without pretreatment.

■Product overview

・Quantification of proteins extracted from cells, tissues, bacterial bodies, etc. ・Quantify protein amount of electrophoresis sample using BCA method ・Total protein quantification kit using BCA method ・Can be detected quickly, easily and accurately ・Samples containing reducing agents and chelating agents can also be pretreated to reduce the inhibitory effect. ・Includes pretreatment reagent to reduce the inhibitory effect of reducing agents - Standard proteins for calibration curve included (bovine serum albumin (BSA), bovine gamma globulin (BGG)) ・Low inhibition effect of coexisting substances, results with good linearity and high precision

■Kit contents

①BCA Reagent A (BCA solution A): 500 mL ②BCA Reagent B (BCA solution B): 12 mL ③Pretreatment Solution: 50 mL ④Pretreatment Agent: 800 mg ⑤BSA Standard (2 mg/mL bovine serum albumin): 10 mL ⑥BGG Standard (2 mg/mL bovine gamma globulin): 10 mL

■Sample capacity

・《Working Reagent》Mix BCA Reagent A and B at 50:1 just before use. ・《Standard method》Protein sample: 25 µL/well, working reagent: 200 µL/well, react at 37℃ for 30 minutes ・《Low concentration region》Protein sample: 25 µL/well, working reagent: 200 µL/well, react at 60℃ for 30 minutes
