■Concentrate and purify only the RNA of the live virus in the sample in 3 minutesThis product is a real-time 1-step RT-PCR kit for detecting the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

A primer/probe set (mCDC set) that is a modified version of the 2019-nCoV_N1 set described in "2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-time rRT-PCR Panel Primers and Probes" by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and , a primer/probe set (mNIID set) modified from the N2 set described in the National Institute of Infectious Diseases' "Pathogen Detection Manual 2019-nCoV Ver2.9.1" We are hiring. 

The commercialization was supervised by Professor Yasuo Sumida of Kagoshima University.

■Extract only live virusesOur proprietary sugar chain nanoparticles capture, concentrate, and purify virus particles, making it possible to measure only the RNA of infectious "living viruses" that have retained their particle shape.

■RNA purification takes 3 minutesSimply transfer the sample solution (nasopharyngeal swab, saliva, etc.) using the included dropper to complete virus capture, concentration and purification and RNA extraction.

■High sensitivityBy using uniquely improved primers, viral RNA can be quantified up to 10 copies/assay. Furthermore, it has up to 100 times higher concentration efficiency than the normal RNA extraction method (Boom method).

■From pretreatment to detection within 1 hourThe accuracy of this kit's test data has been confirmed by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, and it has been released as a "rapid test method (reverse transcription and gene amplification takes less than 1 hour)". “About the 2019-nCoV genetic testing method for which evaluation results using clinical specimens were obtained” (National Institute of Infectious Diseases, Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases Division, Health Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare)
