About This Product

■Purpose of useDetection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA, influenza A and B virus RNA in saliva, nasopharyngeal swabs or nasal swabs (aid in diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection or influenza virus infection)

■Important basic notes1. Even if the test result is negative with this product, it does not rule out infection with SARS-CoV-2 or influenza virus.
2. For diagnosis, refer to the latest case definitions from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and make a comprehensive judgment that includes clinical symptoms, not just the test results of this product.
3. Necessary biohazard measures should be taken when collecting and handling specimens.
4. For specimens used for testing, please refer to the "Guidelines for Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19) Pathogen Testing."
5. At the time of approval, clinical performance tests have not been conducted regarding the detection of influenza viruses in nasopharyngeal swabs and nasal swabs, and a condition for approval is that clinical performance tests be conducted after marketing. Therefore, when diagnosing influenza virus infection using nasopharyngeal swabs and nasal cavity swabs, do not rely solely on the test results of this product, but also make a comprehensive judgment in consideration of other test results and clinical symptoms.

■General precautions1. This product is an in vitro diagnostic drug and cannot be used for any other purpose. To be used only for testing for the purpose of clinical diagnosis to detect SARS-CoV-2 and influenza virus RNA.
2. If you do not have knowledge or experience in genetic testing, there is a risk of misjudging the test results, so please use this product under the guidance of a technician with knowledge and experience in genetic testing. Conduct inspections.
