A camera photographs the dropped droplets from the side. The droplet contact angle at the point of fall is measured from the image.
■Droplet contact angle
By determining the contact angle, the wettability of the surface can be evaluated. If the contact angle is high, the wettability is low, and if the contact angle is low, the wettability is high.
■Contact angle measurement from video
Droplet θ measures the contact angle using video and sound, so it is possible to measure the contact angle even with data taken using the expansion/contraction method or the sliding method. It is also possible to calculate the "angle at which a round object makes contact", which is not the original measurement of droplet contact angle.
■Save as image, output as CSV
The measurement results analyzed with this software can not only be used on the software, but also exported as images or CSV. The output results can be used for various analyses.
