About This Product

Toyama Electric's metal molding has a structure that allows for easy removal of the cover and base, and allows for a strong combination.

Metal malls are widely used for expansion and renovation work in dry areas such as offices, schools, hospitals, stations, and stores. Metal moldings are characterized by their excellent appearance and ease of construction. Ideal product for exposed piping work.

Also, since the structure is a combination of a base (main body) and a cover (lid), there is no need to worry about damage to the electric wires. The outer surface of the metal molding and its accessories are finished with white (N9.5) and milky white (5Y8.2/1) baking paint. After installation, it can be easily repainted to match the color of the walls or ceiling.

■CautionMetal moldings cannot be used in humid areas such as bathrooms and commercial kitchens. (Electrical Engineering Interpretation Article 161). Also, avoid using it in the cooking room of a typical home, where it is hot, humid, poorly ventilated, and easily filled with steam, as dew condensation is likely to occur and rust may occur.

■Number of wires accommodated・The number of electric wires that can be stored in a metal molding is 10 or less according to internal wire regulations.
・C-type metal molding is a piping material that falls under Article 162 of the Electrical Engineering Interpretation Metal Duct Construction. Therefore, the number of wires that can be accommodated is not limited to 10 or less for metal wire pipe work. Wires can be passed through up to 20% of the internal cross-sectional area.
