■Product overview

NB3200 is a two-component optical adhesive with excellent water and chemical resistance. This adhesive exhibits good handling characteristics due to its low viscosity and has excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials such as metal, wood, and plastic.

■Product features and applications

・High water resistance ・Chemical resistance ・Proven track record in optical fiber connectors ・Can be cured at room temperature ・Optical isolator assembly ・Fixing optical lenses, bundles of optical fibers

■Properties before curing

・Liquid: 2 liquid ・Mixing ratio (weight ratio): 100:45 ・Curing conditions: 65℃/3 hours ・Viscosity (after mixing): 600-1,200cp ・Pot life (23℃): 1 hour ・Storage conditions: room temperature ・Quality guarantee period: 1 year

■Properties after curing

・Tensile shear strength: 190kgf/cm2 ・Glass transition temperature (Tg): 50℃ or higher ・Linear expansion coefficient: 54ppm below Tg, 181ppm above Tg ・Optical refractive index: 1.53 (@589nm) ・Light transmittance: 95% or more (400-700nm) ・Shore D hardness: 85
