■Summary

The BD series of laser displacement sensors can measure the thickness, width, step, lift, bending, flatness, etc. of the target by stable displacement measurement regardless of the color or material of the target. In particular, maintenance is easy with the sensor head and sensor amplifier unit separated structure, and up to 8 sensor amplifier units can be connected and used with the built-in mutual interference prevention function.

・Reference distance: Diffuse reflection type: 30/65/100/300/600 mm ・Reference distance: Specular reflection type: 30/65/100 mm ・Easy maintenance due to sensor head/sensor amplifier unit separated structure ・Maximum resolution 1μm (depending on model) ・Stable measurement is possible with little influence from the color or material of the detection target (diffuse reflection model) ・Stable measurement is possible for specular and transparent materials (specular reflection model) ・Up to 8 sensor amplifier units can be interconnected ・Automatically apply mutual interference prevention function and channel settings ・Supports various calculation functions (addition, subtraction, average) ・Supports various filter functions for stable measurement (moving average, differential, median) ・Sensitivity setting (1 point, 2 points) function allows settings to suit the user environment ・Provides dedicated setting software “atDisplacement” ・Dedicated brackets are provided according to the installation angle (regular reflection model) ・DIN-Rail, wall mounting possible (however, use the included bracket when mounting on a wall) ・Realizes IP67 protection structure (IEC standard)

■Stable displacement measurement compatible with various materials

It is possible to measure displacement corresponding to the material of the target object, such as black/white paper, SUS, rubber, PCB, etc. In the case of a specular reflection model, stable measurement is possible for specular and transparent materials.

■Achieve convenient configuration by applying moving average, differential, and median filters

By applying moving average, differential, and median filters, it is possible to stably correct sudden displacement amounts due to variables such as equipment noise.
