■Summary
Franken's ALCUT series is a special end mill series featuring ultra-high efficiency machining and general-purpose machining of aluminum alloys. It has been reborn with a new coating that minimizes built-up edge formation due to wear and welding. The polished, uncoated version is recommended for machining wrought aluminum and aluminum castings with a silicon content of up to 7%, and the GLT-coated version is recommended for machining aluminum castings and copper alloys with a silicon content of up to 12%.
■Alcut "Aerospace"
In addition to the conventional Ruffing WR and Straight Edge W, the newly developed WF type has been introduced to ALCUT "Aerospace". This new WF type is the ultimate tool for ultra-high efficiency roughing and finishing of aluminum and copper alloys. Particularly in rough machining, it is possible to achieve an extremely high level of chip evacuation.
