About This Product

Taurus TPX (Universal Switcher with Transmission) is a new form of platform that provides the same functionality as the Taurus UCX series products.

While Taurus UCX is ideal for huddle rooms of up to 6 people and benefits from easy and transparent connectivity and simple, automated controls, Taurus TPX can accommodate even more people in medium to large meeting rooms. Features include seamless integration up to 100m, +4 USB host device connectivity on the RX side, and the ability for RX devices to receive PoE remote power from TX devices.

UCX-4x3-TPX-TX20 is a USB Type-C & HDMI matrix switcher transmitter. It demonstrates excellent capabilities in environments that require advanced video and audio transmission in professional environments such as conference rooms and classrooms.

Features include up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video resolution with USB-C/HDMI input, easy USB host switching, advanced security features, and more. Additionally, the transmitter can remotely power a connected receiver up to the 25.4W power limit of the PoE+ specification.

・USB-C charging up to 100W (total 120W) with TX
・Independent USB host switching layer supports up to 8 USB hosts (4x on TX side, 4x on RX side)
・Room device control via Ethernet (TCP/IP) or serial (2x on TX side, 1x on RX side)
・Supports uncompressed HDMI 4K signal format (4K UHD @60Hz RGB 4:4:4, up to 18Gbps, 600MHz pixel clock)
・Audio de-embedding function
