About This Product

MD9204-HEVC-CODEC-4K is MultiDyne's next generation HEVC codec. It also supports encoding/decoding of 4K 2160/59.94p at 4:2:2 10 bits, and the latency between encoding and decoding is only 117msec (7 frames at 59.94p/3.5 frames at 59.94i), making it suitable for broadcast use. Perform low-latency coding that can be tolerated. We support SRT, ZiXi, and RIST protocols, which are secure with low latency and high packet loss recovery, as protocols for IP transmission, so we provide solutions for video transmission between locations and cloud services such as AWS. I will.

The MD9204-HEVC-CODEC-4K supports 12-SDI input/output via coaxial or single-mode optical fiber, and can be configured with 3G-SDI quad-link or four single-link input/output systems. It can be encoded to IP at bit rates from 160kb/s to 60Mb/s and can be transmitted using SFP in fiber optic or metal cables in SFP+ cages.

In addition to supporting up to 8 channels of SDI embedded audio, it also supports HDR (PQ, HDR-10) metadata. To correct errors such as packet loss, you can use the algorithms of the SRT, ZiXi, and RIST protocols, as well as MultiDyne's patented ARQ error protection.
