About This Product

This is a picosecond pulsed fiber laser (1,030nm). Since it is based on a fiber laser, it is a very high quality laser with excellent maintainability. Ideal for cutting, drilling, and scribing glass, sapphire, silicon, SiC, ceramics, nitinol, CFRP, PCD, and CVD diamonds, thin film patterning, and marking glass, sapphire, silicon, SiC, metal, and plastic.

■Application example

・Glass drilling High pulse energy, high beam quality, and high repetition rate fiber lasers enable high-speed, taper-free drilling in glass. ・Glass marking Microcracks can be formed and marked by irradiating glass with a high peak power laser beam. This effect also occurs on the inside of the glass, so it is possible to mark the inside of the glass while leaving the surface as it is. ・Thin film patterning Thin films are used in a variety of applications such as solar power generation devices and displays. High-repetition, single-pulse lasers are ideal for rapidly patterning these coatings with high precision by selectively ablating the coating without damaging the substrate. ・Marking of stainless steel Infrared pulsed lasers in the picosecond range can produce permanent, high-contrast markings on stainless steel surfaces that withstand sterilization processes commonly used in medical devices. Depending on the selected process parameters, black marks with maximum contrast or marks of various colors can be achieved.
