In laser processing of electric vehicle batteries and electric motors, the process window is becoming smaller, and it is becoming important to obtain focal position information at any timing during the process.
The focus tracker from Germany's PRIMES is a measuring device that measures the laser focus position at a maximum of 40Hz. This enables stable laser processing even in narrow process windows. It can also be applied to measuring focus shifts due to thermal lens effects.
