About This Product
A lens that simultaneously generates multiple focused spots in the optical axis direction. It has an adjustment mechanism that allows you to adjust the number of spots and power balance. There are condensing lens types and collimator types.
Ideal for laser welding and cutting. It can have a stable beam profile in the optical axis direction, and stable machining results can be obtained. Since it uses a refractive optical system, it has high transmittance and can be used stably with lasers up to 6kW.
■Types of multi-focus lenses
There are two types of multi-focus lenses: condenser lens type and collimator type.
The condenser lens type can be used as a condenser lens for the processing head. When a collimated beam is input, the beam is focused at up to four focusing angles and focused at each position.
The collimated type is a model with a receptacle connector to which a fiber laser can be connected, and it converts the light diffused from the fiber into up to four parallel beams (strictly speaking, they are not parallel beams). Light emitted from a collimating type multi-focus lens can be focused into multiple spot beams by simply focusing it with a normal lens. It is ideal for applications that use a galvano scanner + fθ lens.
