About This Product
A single-disc top hat generator converts the incoming beam into an AiryDisk. Since it does not have a spread angle adjustment mechanism like standard top hat generators, it has a compact design that can be easily integrated into equipment.
The input and output mounting screws are standard screws for QBH collimators, making installation easy. Ideal for applications such as metal 3D printers.
■Features
・Small spot beam diameter
The same spot beam diameter can be obtained by using the same optical system used for the Gaussian beam.
・Low loss
Since it is a reflective optical component, there is little loss of laser power.
・Wide range of lineup
We have a wide lineup that accommodates various wavelengths, incident beam diameters, and outputs. There is also a built-in collimator model that supports not only parallel light but also diffused light (output from a fiber).
・High output compatible
Models that support several kW of laser output are also available.
・Beam profile adjustment
When used in focus, you can get not only a top hat beam but also a donut shaped beam. This beam is effective for thermal processing such as welding and AM. By turning the adjustment ring on the beam shaper body, it is also possible to change the beam profile without changing the working distance.
This type of beam shaper converts an incoming Gaussian or multimode beam into a parallel top-hat beam. Top hat beams of various sizes can be generated by imaging the output beam from the beam shaper.
In addition to brazing, it is used for holography, interference patterning, confocal microscopy, etc.
