About This Product
The top hat generator for high power fiber lasers is a hybrid device of a QBH collimator and a focusing beam shaper. When a fiber laser with a QBH connector is connected, it will be collimated internally, converted to AiryDisk, and then output.
By concentrating this output with a lens, you can obtain top hats and donuts near the condensing point. Ideal for applications such as welding.
■Features
・Small spot beam diameter
The same spot beam diameter can be obtained by using the same optical system used for the Gaussian beam.
・Low loss
Since it is a reflective optical component, there is little loss of laser power.
・Wide range of lineup
We have a wide lineup that accommodates various wavelengths, incident beam diameters, and outputs. There is also a built-in collimator model that supports not only parallel light but also diffused light (output from a fiber).
・High output compatible
Models that support several kW of laser output are also available.
・Beam profile adjustment
When used in focus, you can get not only a top hat beam but also a donut shaped beam. This beam is effective for thermal processing such as welding and AM. By turning the adjustment ring on the beam shaper body, it is also possible to change the beam profile without changing the working distance.
