About This Product

A standard top hat generator inputs a 4-6mm beam and outputs an AiryDisk. By focusing this beam with your lens, it is possible to generate a top hat or donut beam near the focal point. It has a divergence angle adjustment mechanism that allows you to obtain the required beam profile at the processing point without changing the working distance.

■Features

・Small spot beam diameter The same spot beam diameter can be obtained by using the same optical system used for the Gaussian beam. ・Low loss Since it is a reflective optical component, there is little loss of laser power. ・Wide range of lineup We have a wide lineup that accommodates various wavelengths, incident beam diameters, and outputs. There is also a built-in collimator model that supports not only parallel light but also diffused light (output from a fiber). ・High output compatible Models that support several kW of laser output are also available. ・Beam profile adjustment When used in focus, you can get not only a top hat beam but also a donut shaped beam. This beam is effective for thermal processing such as welding and AM. By turning the adjustment ring on the beam shaper body, it is also possible to change the beam profile without changing the working distance.
