About This Product

■What is CIS?

・CIS (Contact Image Sensor) consists of a sensor IC arranged in a row, a rod lens, and an LED light. - The LED light reflects on the object to be read and enters the sensor through the lens to read foreign objects and abnormalities. ・CIS usually has a built-in light source, but it is also possible to use an external light source to support a more diverse range of applications. Although you can use your own light source, we recommend using WHEC products. ・WHEC offers the external light source HLU series. Depending on the object to be read, it can be used as a backlight or to illuminate the object to be inspected at an angle. Inspection example
