About This Product

This is an alignment stage for assembling small optical circuits.

■ConfigurationWhen configuring an optical system, even slight angular deviations have a large impact. In optical systems that use interference systems, the intensity of light wave interference greatly changes the output data. Therefore, careful attention must be paid to the misalignment of the light beam when configuring the optical system.

Usually, a combination of an XY stage and a tilt (angle adjustment) stage is used. When these are combined, the support stage becomes large, and the entire optical system may be larger than expected.

Since the entire optical system requires a stable base, the entire system becomes large and heavy in such cases. To prevent this problem, it is necessary to make the stage smaller. Here we will introduce a small stage. The XY stage and the Aori stage.

A 5mm square mirror, PBS (Polarizing Beam Splitter), NPBS (Non-Polarizing Beam Splitter), various prisms, fiber collimator, large diameter fiber receiving system, etc. are fixed to facilitate alignment of their optical axes. By combining it with the X-axis and XY-axis movement stages, finer adjustment is possible.
