■FROGSCAN system, a patented technology using FROG

Mesaphotonics has invented and patented the FROGSCAN, a measuring device that uses frequency-resolved optical gating (FROG), a technology for measuring ultrashort pulses such as fs and ps. You can easily perform ultra-short pulse measurements.

■Can measure a wide wavelength range

The standard supports wavelengths from 450nm to 1,800nm, and the added function FROGScanUltra supports InGaAs detectors and can measure a wide wavelength range up to 3.4µm. The spectral resolution is also wider.

■Wide measurement time range

Pulse width can be measured over a wide range of 12fs-10ps. It also supports low repetition pulses and can perform 2Hz real-time pulse measurements. This may not be possible depending on the laser specifications.
