About This Product

■For beam shaping of high power CW lasers. Can generate ring mode optimal for welding applications

When performing thermal processing such as laser welding or laser hardening, it is desirable to have uniform heat distribution on the workpiece. A ring-shaped beam profile is required for uniform heat distribution, and Cailabs uses Multi-Plane Light Conversion (MPLC) technology to enable ring mode generation in a 16kW CW laser. Currently, asymmetric beam shapers are also available. Features

■Effective ring beam generation for welding applications

Cailabs makes it possible to generate such profiles with its CW light source 16kW class laser.

■Achievements in integrating a fiber laser into a system equipped with a robot arm

Through our partnership with the Maupertuis Institute, a non-profit organization that researches industrial processing technology, we have a track record of integrating fiber lasers into systems equipped with robot arms.

■6mm thick stainless steel welding result on aluminum

Results of welding a 6mm stainless steel weld on aluminum using argon shielding gas at 1m/min.
