■Reinforced copper/dual band turning mirror

This turning mirror is ideal for reflecting CO2 laser beams at angles of incidence from 0 degrees to 45 degrees. These mirrors are excellent at maintaining mode and are designed and manufactured for high reflectivity and optimal durability in harsh industrial environments.

■Highly durable molybdenum mirror

Manufactured from high purity vacuum arc cast low carbon molybdenum (Mo), uncoated mirrors are extremely durable and are typically used in physically demanding environments. Molybdenum's inherently hard surface makes it ideal for dirty industrial applications that require frequent cleaning. These mirrors exhibit >98.1% average reflectance at a wavelength of 10.6 μm at a 45 degree AOI. Absorption and scattering losses will be < 1.9%.

■Zero phase reflector

These silicon or copper mirror substrates use highly reinforced zero-phase thin film coatings. This special design is a low polarization loss CO2 laser mirror designed to maintain circular polarization in the beam delivery system.

■Beam combiner

Ideal for applications where diode lasers are used for system alignment. Designed for use at 45 degrees, it transmits a beam with a wavelength of 10.6um and reflects 90 degrees to join the diode beam. The standard beam combiner is optimized for 0.633μm, but can also be modified for other diode wavelengths such as 0.650 or 0.670μm.

■Beam splitter

Beam splitter for 10.6μm with a 45 degree angle of incidence. It is designed to reflect a predetermined percentage of the incident energy. It is necessary to specify the polarization based on the difference in transmission and reflection values ​​between S-polarized light and P-polarized light. A beam splitter can provide parallel surfaces or a wedge to minimize interference from second surface reflections. The 10.6μm beam splitter has a reflectance of 4.5-50%.

■Si/Cu circular polarizing mirror (diameter 50mm)

Consists of a highly efficient phase 1/4 reflective thin film coating on a precision polished mirror substrate. This special coating design converts a linearly polarized CO2 laser beam into circularly polarized light.
