About This Product
Triton2 EVS camera with event-based IMX636 provides low-latency event-based data. Rather than capturing traditional frames, this innovative approach uses event-based pixels that constantly sample the incoming light and generate a signal only when the light level changes.
The shutter-free sensor tracks changes in illumination and responds with ON or OFF events to shifts in intensity that exceed a set threshold. The IMX636 and IMX637 sensors are the result of a successful collaboration between Sony and Prophesee, bringing together Sony's expertise in CMOS image sensor technology and Prophesee's proprietary event-based Metavision® sensing technology.
