■Summary
Micro Electronics' optical fiber stripper Micro Stripper MS1 can easily strip coatings and buffers up to 2,362 µm. Simply select the cutter plate and tube guide that are compatible with each type of fiber and install them. The unique automatic centering stripper method precisely strips the fiber coating. (US Patent 4.271.729)
*Not sold for medical use.
*It does not support polyimide coating removal.
■How to use
1 Insert the fiber into the tube guide for the required stripper length.
2 Close the handle. The blade cuts through buffers, coatings, or jackets without touching the cladding.
3 With the handle closed, pull the fiber out of the tool. Accurate stripper length is always obtained. The fibers will not be nicked or damaged.
