About This Product

■Summary

AMI offers a line of CW laser diode drivers for both high and low current applications. Model 787 is ideal for compact industrial and medical laser applications. With proprietary technology, AMI offers a 50 A, 5 V CW diode driver with the highest efficiency and footprint in the industry. Model 787s can be “stacked” for high current applications. Model 785A is ideal for applications requiring very low output ripple and precise control. End users can shape the laser diode output waveform with a modulation bandwidth of 600 kHz. Our 2kW high power driver model 5705 is designed so that multiple modules can be chained together for even higher power applications. AMI offers the Model 880D CW laser diode controller for laboratory and benchtop CW laser diode driver applications. This turnkey rack mount system provides CW output current for driving solid state lasers. The Model 880D offers a front panel and remote control and can also be operated via an RS-232 interface. Output current is displayed on an easy-to-read LCD display. The Model 880D is an excellent prototyping tool that provides CW diode laser developers with operational flexibility to determine the optimal laser diode and drive. Once the final requirements are defined, AMI can help you specify and design an OEM driver for your application that is cost-competitive, reliable, and has a small footprint.
