About This Product

■Summary

AMI offers a line of pulsed laser diode drivers for both high and low current applications. AMI's high current high power driver model 7701A is an OEM design for high power DPSS laser and lighting applications. AMI's high speed, high peak power Model 766 is ideal for driving 14-pin butterfly packaged laser diode modules for pulsed fiber MOPA systems used in material processing, LIDAR systems for remote sensing, laser communications applications, and ranging. It's a target. For laboratory and benchtop applications, AMI offers the Model 8800D Laser Diode Controller. This microprocessor-controlled rack-mount system provides a pulsed output current that drives a laser diode to pump a solid-state laser. An integrated microprocessor provides the flexibility and convenience of software control, and system status is displayed on an easy-to-read LCD graphic display. The Model 8800D is an excellent prototyping tool for laser developers to determine the best diode and drive for their final application. Once the final requirements are defined, AMI can assist in the design and specification of OEM drivers for the application that are cost-competitive, reliable, and have a small footprint. The new 780 Series is an efficient pulsed, CW, QCW OEM driver assembly for operating a single high power laser diode.
