About This Product

A system for measuring LCD panels up to 11th generation mother glass (2,940mm x 3,370mm). All liquid crystal parameters such as cell gap, rubbing (alignment) direction, twist angle, and pretilt angle can be measured simultaneously with one device.

■Summary

This is a large system used in LCD production equipment that can measure the physical characteristics of LCD panels (cell gap, orientation/rubbing direction, twist, pretilt angle) with one unit. This system is constructed to comply with common customer factory specifications, including interlocking with external equipment.

■APM system

A type that enables slope measurement at any point on the sample. The measurement head is mounted on a rotation stage and the sample is mounted on an XY stage, allowing mapping. This system is capable of measuring LCD panels of all sizes as an offline machine.

■FAA-3 system

A high-speed measurement system with 3 sets of AxoScan fixed on a rotating stage. It is possible to measure multiple points on a large LCD in less than 1 second. This system can be used in a wide range of applications, from offline to online, by combining it with an XY stage depending on the sample size.

■FAF-5 (HYDRA) system

Measure one LCD pixel with AxoStep placed in five different directions. This system was developed with production line use in mind to rapidly measure cell gaps and pretilt angles within subdomains of PSVA, PSA, and UV2A LCD panels. With five AxoStep systems working together and taking simultaneous measurements, a complete measurement can be made in less than 20 seconds. Large-scale systems up to the 11th generation are currently used by some of the world's leading manufacturers of LCD panels.
