About This Product
■Overview and features
This unit is a general-purpose digital input/output device with an Ethernet interface and is equipped with 16-bit input/output ports. These 16 bits are used by setting them to input ports or output ports in 8-bit units by operating the DIPSW. Additionally, the functions listed in the table below can be selected using the DIPSW settings.
■Server mode
By reading/writing data on these input/output ports from the host computer via LAN, you can control and monitor the equipment (user circuit) connected to the terminal side.
■Opposing mode
By using two units and setting each other's IP addresses, you can transmit and reflect the signal status (ON/OFF) of the input port to the output port of the other unit.
■Application example
・Building a remote inspection system from a computer etc. via LAN.
・Construction of a remote monitoring system in face-to-face mode.
- Build a control system by adding an optional relay unit.
