About This Product

■Overview and features This unit is a general-purpose digital input/output device with a GPIB interface, and is equipped with a 24-bit input port and a 16-bit output port. (If you set an input port to output, the output port can be increased to 32 bits) Input ports can be monitored and output ports can be controlled using simple IN/OUT instructions. In addition, this machine can reproduce the functions of "UIO-788GPB" by setting jumpers. By closing the designated jumper, "788Ascii mode" and "788Binary mode" can be used, and users can use this handshake signal to incorporate a GPIB interface into their own products. By reading/writing data from these input/output ports from the host computer through GPIB, you can control and monitor the equipment (user circuit) connected to the terminal side. ■Applications/Uses ・As a GPIB adapter for your company's equipment. ・When remotely controlling manual equipment from a computer. ・When automating stand-alone equipment. ・When remotely controlling the microcomputer board. ■5432 mode - Compliant with IEEE488.2 standard. ・Output port: 16, 24, 32 bits ・Input port: 24, 16, 8 bits ・Status: 8 bits (also used as input port) ・Operations such as output to the output port, input from the input port, and reading of the machine's operating status and status input can be performed using ASCII character string commands. ■788ASCII mode - Compliant with IEEE488.2 standard. ・Output port: 8 bits ・Control bit: 8 bits ・Input port: 14 bit ・Monitoring bit: 2 bits ・Status: 7 bits ・Operations such as output to the output port, input from the input port, and reading of the machine's operating status and status input can be performed using ASCII character string commands. - It also has bit-by-bit input/output commands and buffering functions that are not available in binary mode. ■788 binary mode Compliant with IEEE488.1 standard. ・Output port: 8 bits ・Control bit: 8 bits ・Input port: 8 bit ・Monitoring bit: 2 bits Status: 7 bit
