About This Product

Aramidroll uses Nomex® paper made from 100% aramid fibers. Aramid fibers have excellent heat resistance, so they are used in a wide range of fields as backup rolls for high-temperature calenders.

■Wide range of temperature conditionsAramid rolls have a track record of continuous use at 260℃ (contact roll surface temperature). The Nomex® paper used is UL certified for continuous use at 220°C.

■High pressure resistanceAramid rolls can withstand up to a linear nip pressure of 450kN/m.

■SafetyThere are no cracks or punctures that are typical of plastic.

■Ozone resistanceNomex® paper has excellent ozone resistance. Therefore, surface deterioration due to ozone does not occur.

■InsulationNomex® paper has excellent heat insulation properties and can be used as guide rolls or free rolls in places where rapid temperature changes are undesirable. Its thermal conductivity is lower than that of glass, asbestos, etc.

■Chemical resistanceNomex® paper has excellent resistance to acids, bases, and organic solvents.

■Other featuresExcellent corona resistance and electrical insulation.
