About This Product

OME 7700 is a color tester for petroleum products that uses the tristimulus value conversion method specified as a reference method in JIS K 2580. You can read directly on the large, easy-to-read color LCD with Saybolt and ASTM colors. Simply place the sample in a glass cell, place it in the tester, press the start key, and the results will be displayed in about 5 seconds. The conventional method is a sensory test, which tends to cause individual differences, and in the Saybolt color test, the steam rising from the sample stings the examiner's eyes, which was a problem in the workplace, but these problems can be solved at once. The advanced tristimulus value method is recognized overseas and has already been adopted as D6045 by ASTM in the United States.
