About This Product

The aco-100 is a tester that automates the Cleveland open method, which tests the flash point and combustion point of lubricating oils that exceed 79 degrees Celsius as specified in JIS K 2265-4. If there is no LP gas (or city gas) at the installation location for the gas test flame that is the ignition source, you can perform the test by switching to electric ignition, which does not require gas piping. A fire-extinguishing auxiliary shutter is included as a standard safety feature. After detection of a combustion point test or during a test, if the sample ignites or bursts into flames, a safety function is activated and the fire-extinguishing auxiliary shutter is activated automatically. In addition, the shutter can be activated manually, and the previous model had an activation switch on the side, but the aco-100 has been moved to the front where it is immediately visible and easy to understand, making it a safe and easy-to-use tester.
