About This Product

■Features

・Simplicity (ease of use) When we talk about ease of use, we have so far focused on the operating procedures, but this time we paid attention to things like the angle of the display and keypad, and the use of colors from an ergonomics perspective. We also incorporated the concept of universal design into the use of colors. ・High quality (premium feel) We thought about what quality would be suitable for long-term routine use. The display of the arm release button and test flame adjustment valve has been designed to be easy to understand, resulting in a highly aesthetic design. ・Convenience (high functionality) Equipped with a USB port to allow the connection of a keyboard or stick memory, a password management function to prevent incorrect settings, and an enhanced test result storage function, pursuing true convenience rather than gimmicks. This is an automated version of the Cleveland open method flash point test method, which is applied to samples with flash points exceeding 79°C, such as lubricating oils. Two new models have been added to the aco-8 series: aco-8e and aco-8eas. The electric ignition coil serves as the ignition source and test flame, eliminating the need for gas piping, and is designed to be environmentally friendly. We continue to use the proven and reliable flame ion current detection method using double ring electrodes to detect ignition. Automatic measurement of the combustion point is also possible with the standard equipment of a fire-extinguishing auxiliary shutter. The aco-8as/aco-8eas, equipped with a film removal mechanism, are convenient for handling samples such as asphalt that have a film on the surface during testing.
