About This Product

EMBP (Model Based Parallelizer) is a tool that automatically generates highly reliable, high-performance parallel code for multi-many-core environments using models designed with the MathWorks® model design tool "Simulink®."

Model-based development (MBD) techniques to improve design quality and final system reliability are increasingly being adopted in areas with stringent safety requirements, such as automotive ECUs and aerospace. On the other hand, these fields are also becoming more intelligent, making it necessary to introduce multi-many-core technology with excellent performance and power efficiency.

However, existing MBD support tools and parallelization tools have hurdles such as extracting parallelism, optimal core allocation for parallel programs, and guaranteeing safety and real-time performance. It was difficult to generate code.

By inputting a Simulink model, eMBP automatically generates parallel code that reflects the design intent and is more reliable and effective. Parallelization of control algorithms, which is difficult to achieve by simply analyzing C language source code, can be easily realized as intended by the designer. 

Since it is possible to use a model with a higher level of abstraction than the C language source code used by conventional parallelization tools, it contributes to reducing development costs and development time.
