■Providing project management functions in an all-in-one package
eWeaver is a development process support tool that uses a web browser as an interface and supports the creation of development organizations that are resistant to change, highly productive, and highly efficient.
Based on the open source software (OSS) project management tool "Redmine" and the version control tool "Subversion", it is a function for managing the entire software life cycle process, from embedded software development requirements analysis to post-release issue management. I packaged it.
A series of management functions visualize the status of each process and improve traceability. In particular, by implementing the Backlogs plugin that supports the agile framework Scrum, we have realized efficient development item management using backlogs. This supports flexibility to change and increased productivity.
Furthermore, we have implemented a traceability management function between artifacts that tend to be separated as tools, making it possible to trace processes and artifacts using the same tool. This function helps ensure traceability required by functional safety standards.
■System configuration
eWeaver is based on open sources such as the project management tool ``Redmine'' and the version control tool ``Subversion,'' and has the function of linking with documents created with Microsoft's ``Microsoft Word,'' ``Microsoft Excel,'' and ``Microsoft PowerPoint.'' We have implemented our own Redmine plugins, including:
