PrFILE2 exFAT is a FAT12/16/32 and exFAT compatible file system for embedded systems. exFAT is a file system specification developed by Microsoft, and is optimized for large-capacity media over 32 GB, such as flash memory cards, USB memory, and external hard disks.
Currently, it supports exFAT partitions larger than 2TB, and it is also possible to read/write files larger than 2TB.
By adopting PrFILE2 exFAT, large files such as videos, music, and photos stored on large-capacity media can be handled at high speed. Ideal for systems that use large amounts of data with high image quality and sound quality, such as portable music/media players, digital cameras/video players, high-definition digital TVs, photo printers, photo frames, and surveillance cameras.
PrFILE2 exFAT was developed based on PrFILE2 and inherits its features.

Optimized for large capacity media over 32 GB, such as flash memory cards, USB memory, and external hard disks. It can handle files larger than 4 gigabytes, which was not possible with the traditional FAT32 file system.

By using the free cluster bitmap image held in the system, you can quickly search for free clusters on the media. Additionally, files are deleted by updating the free cluster bitmap image, so even large files can be deleted quickly.

PrFILE2 exFAT, which was developed based on PrFILE2, is not an add-on to PrFILE2, but is optimized for functionality and performance as an exFAT file system, resulting in a small memory footprint. It also enables high-speed operations on large files.
