About This Product

RealMTF is measurement software that uses the software IP-8030 developed by Astrodesign in cooperation with Japan Broadcasting Corporation.

■System overview

- A system that can simultaneously measure MTF, which indicates the spatial resolution characteristics of a camera, in real time and in multiple directions. - Ideal for analyzing the input edge video and evaluating the resolution characteristics of the entire imaging system, from the lens to the camera signal processing. ・It also supports high-resolution videos such as 8K and 4K.

■Basic system configuration

・Software “RealMTF” Model: IP-8030 ・PC ・Video input device ·chart ・Chart surface light source, lighting ・Light source and camera fixing parts, position adjustment mechanism Characteristic operability and functions

■ROI settings that can accommodate various patterns

The shape of the ROI can be set as desired, and the ROI can also be rotated. Also, as shown in the figure on the right, multiple ROIs in multiple directions can be set and measured simultaneously.

■Multidirectional MTF measurement

Continuous measurements can be performed while changing the lens, camera focus, iris, and zoom.

■OETF measurement

By connecting to KIDOBAKO manufactured by Tsubosaka Electric, the gamma correction of the camera can be measured. By creating a LUT based on the measurement results and making the image linear, accurate MTF measurement is possible.

■Video input

Compatible with various camera interfaces ・SDI/HDMI input using Blackmagic Design devices ・GenICam standard machine vision camera ・Vision Research Phantom high-speed camera ・Controlling digital cameras and acquiring images via USB connection ・Offline measurement of image files

■Lighting environment necessary for accurate measurements

We offer surface light sources and lighting devices made by Tsubosaka Electric, as well as measurement benches that combine these. ・Illumination box for reflection chart LBR-3020CRI ・Surface light source for transmission chart VLB-3020FBW3-CRI ・5-axis positioning system CMS-1
