About This Product

■Shear viscosity × extensional viscosity.

Achieves corrected and accurate shear viscosity measurements with high reproducibility. Furthermore, the tensile viscosity can be easily measured to determine the true nature of the material. Imatec's R6000 provides a new benchmark for material design, with flexible control software and a robust frame that eliminates measurement errors, highlighting the precise information needed for molding.

■Features

- Computer-controlled twin capillary rheometer with two measuring tubes. ・No periodic calibration work by the operator is required. Automatic calibration with platinum sensor (high accuracy 0.01%, temperature stability 0.0003%/℃, temporal fluctuation rate 0.001%/year). ・The barrel is divided into 3 zones, and each zone can control the temperature independently. The temperature uniformity throughout the barrel is also outstanding. The temperature control sensor is a newly developed knuckle heater located very close to the center of the barrel. Precise control of sample temperature. - The variable range of piston speed is from 0.01mm/min to 500mm/min (maximum speed 1.000mm/min as an option). Using a 0.25mm die, the shear rate is up to 9.6×10 5/s. ・An ultra-precision pressure sensor is used to measure resin pressure, and measurement stability is excellent. The software has a pressure equilibrium point detection function that captures highly accurate pressure data in the minimum amount of time necessary. - Insert a pressure sensor into the die entrance and directly measure resin pressure. The load applied to the piston is measured using a separate load cell. ・A forced exhaust system may be installed in case toxic gas is generated during measurement. ・Interlock system against piston load and resin pressure overload. - In case of emergency, the front of the device is equipped with a door with a safety device to ensure the safety of the operator.
