■Characteristics
The FA1384× series is a C-MOS type current mode controller and is a control IC for configuring high-performance switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, etc. In particular, because it is a C-MOS type, the power consumption of the IC is low, and the startup circuit etc. can be made smaller and more power-saving, making it ideal for constructing high-efficiency, power-saving power supplies. The output can directly drive a MOS-FET, resulting in a circuit configuration that requires fewer external components, and the small 8-pin package allows for a small space and high cost performance power supply.
