About This Product

A reverse plum line is a line that is fixed to immovable rock that is thought to have no deformation in the foundation rock, and its upper end is pulled by a float device. It measures the amount of horizontal displacement from the relative displacement between the bottom of the dam body and the foundation rock. So, install it directly below the normal plum line. The reverse plum line device installed to measure dam displacement consists of a float device, stainless steel wire, and fixed anchor. This device drills the foundation ground directly below the dam body, buries a casing pipe up to the immovable bedrock, and suspends a wire from a fixed point at the bottom using a float device to create a stable measurement reference line in the direction of gravity. A coordinator for manual on-site observation and a deflection detector for remote automatic detection are installed at the measurement points.
