About This Product

Plumline is an instrument that measures the strain that occurs in the dam body due to water pressure and ground deformation, and checks the safety of the dam. The normal plum line has a weight (such as a weight made of concrete or steel plate) suspended from the upper end fixed by a swinging device and the lower end, and deflection is measured from the relative displacement between the top and bottom of the dam body. There are two measurement locations: a middle measurement room and a lower measurement room. The normal plum line device installed to measure dam displacement consists of a hoist, stainless steel wire, a weight, and an oil tank. This device is equipped with a hoist for adjusting the length of the plum line at the top of the shaft inside the dam body, which serves as a fixed point for the plumb line. The weight at the bottom of the plum line is located inside the damper oil tank and keeps the wire stable in the direction of gravity. A coordinator for manual on-site observation and a deflection detector for remote automatic detection are installed at the measurement points.
