The N360X series 2D barcode scan engine is a highly compact, non-decoding 2D imager designed for mobile devices.
The N360X series inherits Honeywell's long-established decoding technology and hardware performance, delivering high-performance devices that are easier to integrate into space-constrained mobile device designs. Dimensions (8.1mm (0.32in) high x 10.8mm (0.43in) deep) make it the most compact in its class. The smaller footprint frees up space to integrate other technologies. The new sensor is capable of reading high-resolution codes (down to 3mil for Code39 1D barcodes), and the white LED lighting system improves image capture results and color barcode readability.
The N360X series includes a high-definition LED green dot aimer (N3601) suitable for customer care and medical applications, or the ability to read multiple barcodes in close proximity for high visibility in low-light or high-light environments. It is equipped with one of the low profile bright laser aiming systems (N3603). A wide operating temperature range (-20°C to 50°C [-4°F to 122°F]) allows for expansion into demanding applications.
