In addition to its high performance and small form factor, users benefit from the most complete barcode symbology support, excellent motion tolerance, and aggressive scanning of all types of barcodes, even on imperfect prints and smartphone screens. You can enjoy Honeywell Gen7 DB is also flash upgradeable, ensuring continued innovation and support.
It can be designed with a choice of either TTL serial or USB interfaces and allows for snap-on board-to-board installation onto the customer's mainboard using additional hold-down screws. This "cableless" solution eliminates the need for additional flex cables and connectors, resulting in a more compact footprint.
Honeywell Gen7 DB operates over a wide temperature range of -30°C to 60°C [-22°F to 140°F], matching the high-performance operating temperature range of the N670X series scan engines.
Honeywell Gen7 DB is fully backwards compatible with MINI DB decoder boards, sharing the same electrical pinout and mechanical fit, allowing the latest designs to smoothly migrate to the new Honeywell GEN7 DB platform. By combining the N670X Series with the enhanced FlexRange EX30 scan engine, customers can easily embed a complete 2D imaging solution in a very small space, providing more design flexibility and integration than ever before. can.
