You can now add high-performance 2D image processing capabilities to even the smallest devices, such as small handheld scanners, smartphones, and wearable devices. Simply combine the mini DB decoder board with the N6600 (LED aimer) or N6603 (laser aimer) ultra-slim area imaging engine. Easily incorporate a complete 2D imaging solution into a very small space, giving you greater design flexibility and integration than ever before. Mini DB supports N660X's parallel interface (30 pins). For the host interface, Honeywell has creatively combined three types of host connections:

・Board to board (B2B): Installation is completed by simply snapping it onto the main board. Additional fixing screws are also included. This cableless solution eliminates the need for flex cables and connectors, resulting in a more compact footprint.
Flex Cable (12-pin): For designs that require the host connection to be attached to the decoder board separately from the host board.
RS232 and USB: Both B2B and 12-pin flex connector versions support RS232 and USB signals. This flex cable option is also compatible with other Honeywell scan engines such as N568X and N431X. Mini DB includes Honeywell's latest decoding libraries to optimize performance. Benefit from the most complete barcode symbology support, unparalleled motion tolerance, and aggressive scanning of all barcode types, even on imperfect prints and smartphone screens.
