The FS24X is the latest generation high technology multispectral triple IR (IR/IR/IR/Visible) fire detector and is part of our family of advanced technology electro-optic fire detectors, FSX. The FS24X uses patented* WideBand IR™, WideBand 4.3 Micron IR™, and visible detection technology to provide a breakthrough in fire detection. With sophisticated software algorithms and dual microprocessors, the FS24X provides the best false alarm rejection and the best fire detection performance at the same time.
WideBand IR™ infrared technology using high-speed solid-state quantum sensors allows detection of all types of fires (hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon) in all climate conditions. If the detector's signal is blocked by common window glass, the patented WideBand IR sensor will issue a fire alarm, but with reduced sensitivity and slower reaction time.
Dual microprocessors provide a high level of fail-safe operation and fast, reliable performance at the same time.
