About This Product

■CRIR series

Standard range is 400ppm to 2,000ppm, extended range up to 10,000ppm. Accuracy of ±40ppm, ±3% of measured value and ±50ppm, ±5% of measured value

■Product overview

The CRIR series is a single-channel, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor. Inside the CRIR M1 and CRIR E1 is a detector with an infrared source on one end and an optical filter on the other end. A light source emits wavelengths that include the absorption band of CO2. This filter blocks wavelengths that are not sensitive to the presence of CO2, thus increasing selectivity and sensitivity. When light passes through the sensing chamber, some light will be absorbed if CO2 is present. The difference between the light emitted by the light source and the light received by the detector can be converted into a CO2 concentration reading. The Automatic Baseline Correction (ABC) feature allows you to automatically calibrate the sensor's minimum reading to 400ppm CO2 at preset intervals. This improves long-term stability and may eliminate the need for calibration.
