SMART position sensors with rotating structure are non-contact sensing solutions that provide highly accurate absolute position sensing. Detects the relative position of the sensor and magnet in a detection range of 0° to 360°. Honeywell uses a patented application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) in combination with a variety of MR sensors to reliably determine the position of magnetic collars attached to rotating objects.
SMART position sensors with rotating construction fit onto a 25.4 mm [1 in] shaft. Mounting tools (sold separately) allow for repeated installation.
