■Product overview
Non-invasive monitoring of arterial oxygen saturation using SpO2 probes is standard of care in most hospital and other healthcare settings.
The most commonly used probe is attached to the patient's fingertip. However, there are other methods of probe positioning that provide a superior clinical approach and are an alternative, especially in unfavorable conditions.
The EarClip sensor is a proven and clinically used measurement point. Especially when it comes to clinical accuracy, EarClips have been reported to be not only comparable to, but in some cases superior to, FingerClips.
For children and adults, the earlobe may be a preferred measurement point because it reduces interference from motion artifacts.
