Honeywell FFS switches are designed as tamper-proof, standalone safety switches that can be frequently used to directly switch relays, contacts, or safety relays. By removing the separate control unit, Honeywell has made electronic switching technology available for use in simple compact safety systems.
FSS is often suitable for stand-alone use in safety systems with low safety requirements and provides two bolt-free outputs (2NC or 1 NC/1 NO).
It can be used with safety relays in applications with high standard requirements. For ease of use, the fixed switch has a green LED that indicates the status of the FFS safety switch contacts.
