About This Product
■It is an iron lid that can be filled with various paving materials, emphasizing harmony with the surrounding environment.
It is possible to fill the iron lid with the same finishing material as the surrounding environment, making the iron lid less noticeable, creating a harmonious space, and preserving the beauty of the surrounding area. It has the same walking feel as the surrounding finishing materials, so you can walk through it without worrying that it is made of iron.
The material is cast iron, which has excellent durability. We offer a type with stainless steel joints attached only to the parts exposed to the ground surface, and a cast iron joint type that makes full use of the cast material.
It can be used in a variety of locations as an iron cover for maintenance and inspection entrances to mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, rainwater pipes, sewage pipes, etc. You can choose according to any load conditions such as building exteriors and roads within the premises.
Regarding the selection of main finishing materials and iron lids
■Porcelain tiles
・Suitable for exterior floor tiles with a thickness of around 10 mm.
・Choose one for colored pavement.
■Interlocking block
- Compatible with regular blocks, water-permeable blocks, and water-retentive blocks with a thickness of 60 mm.
・Please select one for interlocking blocks.
■Product information
・The method of fixing the lid and frame is different for 300/350 and 450/600.
-The number of handles is 2 for the designations 300 and 350, and 4 for the designations 450 and 600.
- The filling depth is 40mm, so artificial stones, clinker tiles, mosaic tiles, porcelain tiles, etc. up to 30mm can be pasted.
- Comes with stainless steel L joints.
- Comes with packing as standard.
・The breaking load is the value based on φ170 only for MCDW-1HS designation 300.
*If there is any foreign matter such as sand or stones inside the frame (packing area), be sure to remove it. This may cause water leakage.
