About This Product

■Swallowing function trainer to improve swallowing function ability

Bifurcated needles are specialized needles for skin prick tests. Compared to conventional homemade prick test needles, this needle is almost painless, has a high sensitivity and specificity rate, and is extremely effective for skin prick test (SPT) diagnosis.

■Features

・You can train by switching between exhalation and inhalation with this one bottle. ・Expiration and inspiration load settings can be set in 11 steps each. ・Compact design that can be carried anywhere ・The lineup includes the soft type Dofin 40, which allows fine settings with a small load, and the standard type Dofin 80, which allows a wide range of settings with a strong load.

■Deterioration of swallowing muscle ability due to aging is a familiar risk

Dysphagia can be caused by various environments and causes, but it does not only occur in conjunction with some disease, but also due to aging, where there are many cases of deterioration of the social and mental environment such as loneliness and depression. It is known that a decrease in the strength of the swallowing muscles can also cause dysphagia. This is thought to be one of the causes of aspiration pneumonia, malnutrition, and loss of enjoyment of eating.

■Dofin training method

・Please change the dial and adjust the spring setting of the load to be discharged so that the strength is approximately 70% of the maximum load that you can discharge by yourself. ・Exhale each time for about 3 to 5 seconds (as long as possible). ・Please do this about 20 to 30 times a day (you can divide it into several times). ・Please train about 3 to 5 days a week. (You will notice a change after 4 weeks)
